| first, i wish you nothing but the best in getting that system to work on the Z. if your guys need any kind of info, dont hesitate to give them my info... i'll be glad to help anyway i can... now, i had my engineer look at the stangs doors. his exact words "what a nightmare". from a design standpoint, that system looks like more trouble than its worth. you have to understand that the door on the Z is very heavy and having it open like that looks like trouble. i may be wrong, but it's just the opinion of myself and my engineer. now on the inspection issues... one main reason my kit isn't designed around a motor is DOT inspection. there has to be a way to open the door in the case of no battery, dead motor, or accident. if having a 4point harness in your car causes you to fail inspection, having this type of door operation on your car will definitely cause you to fail inspection. for your sake, i hope that the guys installing the doors have already thought of every little detail. good luck..
